About the team
Our team develops key TradingView products that help millions of users explore financial markets and make investment decisions using market data, financial analysis, and modern data visualization tools.
The team's product area includes Financial Portal, Symbol & Market Pages, Brokers, Yield Curves, and Macro Maps.
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for product discovery, shaping product initiatives, and preparing high-quality product requirements. In this role, it is important not only to understand business problems and user needs but also to be comfortable working with data, possess sufficient technical literacy to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, and prepare clear, implementation-ready requirements.
The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data teams, and other product teams throughout the entire product lifecycle — from Discovery to release and further product evolution.
Responsibilities
Conduct Discovery together with the Product Manager and define product requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
Describe user flows, business rules, product logic, and requirements for data presentation.
Analyze financial data, understand its structure, limitations, and intended usage, and define requirements for its processing and presentation within the product.
Work closely with Designers and Engineers to ensure product requirements are accurately reflected in the user experience.
Act as the coordination point between Product, Engineering, Platform, and Data teams, ensuring alignment of requirements and a shared understanding of the solution.
Support product initiatives throughout the entire lifecycle, from idea to release.
Support released functionality by analyzing user feedback, refining requirements, participating in product improvements, and driving further iterations.
Maintain product documentation and keep it up to date.
What makes you the perfect fit
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
We also consider candidates with a System Analyst background if your experience includes Discovery, business requirements gathering, and participation in product definition.
Hands-on experience conducting Discovery and gathering requirements.
Ability to structure complex business logic and translate it into clear, actionable requirements.
Ability to analyze data, understand business meaning, data sources, and how data is used within the product.
Strong attention to data quality and an understanding of the importance of accurate interpretation of financial information.
Technical literacy sufficient for effective collaboration with engineering teams and preparation of high-quality requirements.
Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Understanding of UX principles and experience collaborating closely with Product Designers.
Financial Markets Expertise
Success in this role requires a solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and financial data. We expect candidates to:
understand how financial markets work and be familiar with major investment instruments, including stocks, bonds, ETFs, currencies, and cryptocurrencies;
be comfortable working with market data, fundamental metrics, macroeconomic indicators, and the basics of technical analysis;
understand how to interpret financial data used in investment products;
understand investor workflows, use cases, and decision-making processes.
Will be a plus
Experience working on FinTech, brokerage, investment, or trading products.
Personal investing experience or regular use of investment products.
Experience building products where data accuracy, financial logic, and correct interpretation of financial information are critical.
