About the team
We are looking for a Frontend Core Unit Lead to drive the development of TradingView’s frontend platform — the infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience that powers all product teams.
You will be responsible for the development of the frontend platform at the organization-wide level: architecture, standards, performance, development tools, and engineering culture.
Your goal is to enable product teams to build interfaces faster, safer, and more efficiently.
Responsibilities
Develop the frontend platform: build systems, shared libraries, CI/CD, and internal tools
Make architectural decisions that impact the entire frontend ecosystem (module boundaries, dependency management, code splitting, performance budgets)
Define and enforce consistent React and TypeScript development standards
Ensure platform-level performance, security, and accessibility
Plan and deliver platform initiatives with clear metrics and measurable outcomes
Align the platform roadmap with product and business priorities
Lead the team: hiring, mentoring engineers and team leads, conducting 1:1s, and shaping engineering culture
What makes you the perfect fit
5+ years of frontend development experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
Strong experience with React and TypeScript in large-scale, multi-team codebases
Deep understanding of frontend architecture: build systems, modules, dependencies, CI/CD
Experience building shared libraries, design systems, or internal developer tools
Strong understanding of web performance, HTML, CSS, and HTTP
Experience managing teams (including tech leads / engineering managers, 3+ direct reports)
Ability to make architectural decisions and communicate effectively across teams and with business stakeholders
Will be a plus
Experience in finance or trading domain
Familiarity with TradingView as a product
