About the team
We’re looking for an Android Developer to join the TradingView mobile team.
You’ll be working on an Android application used by millions of traders and investors worldwide. The product deals with high data loads, real-time updates, complex UI states, and strict performance and reliability requirements.
The team focuses on long-term product development rather than short-lived features. You’ll participate in architectural decisions, work closely with designers and backend engineers, and help evolve our mobile practices, tooling, and codebase.
Responsibilities
Support and evolve CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Fastlane, etc.)
Develop and maintain testing infrastructure and tooling (unit, integration, UI tests)
Build and maintain internal Android libraries (UI components, architectural utilities, developer tools)
Contribute to architectural decisions and define best practices across Android teams
Partner with product teams to improve developer experience and remove technical friction
Automate and optimize common development workflows
Requirements
4+ years of experience in Android development
Strong Kotlin skills and solid knowledge of the Android SDK
Understanding of mobile application architecture (Clean Architecture, SOLID)
Experience with Gradle and multi-module project setups
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile automation
Experience with testing at different levels (unit, integration, UI)
Ability to design and maintain clean, reusable, and testable library code
Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with multiple teams
Will be a plus
Experience with writing custom Gradle plugins
Familiarity with Ruby (Fastlane, CI scripting)
General DevOps awareness (Docker, monitoring, observability tools)
Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical support within teams
