About the team

We’re looking for an Android Developer to join the TradingView mobile team.

You’ll be working on an Android application used by millions of traders and investors worldwide. The product deals with high data loads, real-time updates, complex UI states, and strict performance and reliability requirements.

The team focuses on long-term product development rather than short-lived features. You’ll participate in architectural decisions, work closely with designers and backend engineers, and help evolve our mobile practices, tooling, and codebase.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve our Android app, which serves a monthly audience of over 10 million users.

• Apply modern development approaches — coroutines, multi-module architecture, Jetpack Compose.

• Participate in concept discussions, propose and implement your own ideas.

• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers and in-house designers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Android development experience.

• Proficiency in Kotlin and hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.

• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and multi-module systems.

• Experience working with design systems and UI component libraries.

Will be a plus

• Experience with writing custom Gradle plugins

• Familiarity with Ruby (Fastlane, CI scripting)

• General DevOps awareness (Docker, monitoring, observability tools)

• Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical support within teams
