About your mission! - Make an impact 🚀
Hi, my name is Anton, I am the team leader of the Discovery team. The Discovery team is responsible for developing cross-functional high-performance features for one of TradingView's key products - Screener.

We are planning to expand our team and are looking for an experienced backend QA-engineer.

How You’ll Drive Success 🏆

• Provide quality assurance in all aspects of creating, modifying, and maintaining services.
• Analyze, reproduce and document bugs.
• Analyzing test coverage of services, participation in writing technical specifications for new features.
• Writing scripts to automate routine activities.
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Working closely with product development and DevOps teams as well as QAs from other teams.

What makes you the perfect fit 🤝

• 5 or more years of experience in backend testing.
• Understanding of working with metrics: what to look for when working with metrics, thinking through reactions to anomalies.
• Good understanding of HTTP - caching, headers and REST. Basic knowledge of TCP/IP and OS limitations that affect the TCP protocol.
• Have familiarity with infrastructure and deployment methods. Knowledge of Docker is highly desirable, as well as any of these monitoring systems - Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana. Experience using Kubernetes will be a plus.
• Experience with Linux and active use of the command line.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with at least one database (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Basic programming experience in any of these languages - Python, JavaScript, Java.
• Experience in load testing - for instance, k6 or Yandex Tank. Have skills in analyzing the results of load testing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.

It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:

• Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
• Knowledge of TradingView 😁 We also love users who become teammates!

This is a hybrid role based in our Málaga office, located in the heart of the city at the prestigious Muelle Uno port.
