We are using the latest technologies, ensuring our team works on innovative and challenging projects: JavaScript, ReactJS, TypeScript with NodeJS, Python and Golang on the backend.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Develop and implement engineering strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of top engineering talent.
Project Management:
- Ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations, to deliver high-quality products.
- Monitor and report on engineering performance metrics, using data to drive decision-making.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the engineering processes.
- Oversee the architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
Strategic Planning:
- Work closely with the executive team to define the long-term vision and strategy for the engineering department.
- Align engineering goals with business objectives, ensuring the development of innovative solutions that meet market demands.
- Drive the adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies that enhance productivity and product quality.
Budgeting & Resource Allocation:
- Manage the engineering budget, including resource allocation, vendor negotiations, and cost control.
- Ensure that engineering resources are effectively utilized to meet project timelines and company goals.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of engineering tools and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of software development methodologies, cloud computing, DevOps practices, and system architecture.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large teams, drive change, and manage complex projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to align engineering efforts with business strategy and contribute to the company’s long-term success.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:
Finance experience or knowledge of Trading
Knowledge of TradingView 😁
